There are three types of drying treatments for wood in wooden box packaging:

1. Manual drying: The wood is sealed in a steam drying chamber to promote steam evaporation and dry the wood. (According to the size and thickness of the wood, the drying time for a 4cm board generally takes one week), the dryness can make the wood water content only 3%, but after the high temperature evaporates, the wood becomes brittle and loses its toughness and is easily damaged, which is not conducive to carving. Generally speaking, the dryness of logs should be maintained at a moisture content level of about 30%. "-

2. Natural drying: sort the wood and place it in a ventilated place (board, square or round wood), and put it into the chimney. The bottom of the chimney is about 60 cm. There is a gap in the middle to allow air to circulate and take away moisture. The wood will gradually dry. Natural drying usually takes years or months to meet certain drying requirements.
